I am thrilled to have Evelyn Ohaus, PsyD, join my practice in Fall 2024. It is very rare for me to hire someone to join my practice, but in this case, it is because I have worked with Evelyn extensively and I have full confidence in her abilities. Evelyn took two of my classes when she was a graduate student at DU, and then she saw several cases through my practice as a graduate student. She did such a great job, I was thrilled when we agreed on her joining my practice after she received her doctorate.

Evelyn Ohaus, PsyD, is currently a post-doctoral psychology candidate who graduated from the University of Denver specializing in Couples and Family Therapy and Trauma Focused Treatments.  Throughout her training, Evelyn has gained experience working in a multitude of settings including residential substance use, middle and high-school-based counseling programs, college counseling centers, community mental health clinics, inpatient hospitals, and private practice.  Evelyn utilizes a collaborative and integrated approach to therapy where she works closely with her clients to highlight relational patterns, gain deeper insight, and provide tools to engage in more effective patterns moving forward. Using a combination of systems based, relational, and behavioral techniques, Evelyn hopes to offer clients new ways of interacting and engaging with the world and increasing psychological flexibility.  She is available to provide individual, couple, and family counseling, as well as psychological assessments, under the supervision of Daniel Hettleman, PhD, P.C., and can offer sliding scale fees to meet clients’ financial needs.

Evelyn can be reached directly at 720-319-7857, or prospective clients can call me (Daniel at 303-912-6632) to discuss her potential fit.
