I have been in practice since 1997. I graduated from Duke University in 1988, and received my doctorate from the University of Denver in 1997. I did one year of psychology internship at Stanford University.
Early in my career, I worked as a psychologist at Colorado Academy, the Denver Children’s Home, and the Kempe Children’s Center.
Since 2001, I have been teaching doctoral students at the University of Denver on topics of Family Systems Theory, and Couples and Family Therapy.
I have served as a consultant at the Evergreen Country Day School since 2006, and also consulted at the Colorado Department of Transportation for several years.
I love each aspect of my work: providing in-depth psychotherapy; sensitive and thorough psychoeducational evaluations for learning disabilities (see “Psychoeducational Evaluations” page); teaching graduate students; and being active in the Denver community. I have given talks and inservices at many community and school organizations. See “Talking and Inservices” Page for a list of topics.
